Finally, less than one month to go until our favorite park is open again. I know several members have been asking for an update. The official site posted a great update on April 15, this can be found by click here.
I have not done any photo updates because there would not be anything additional to take pictures of, other than what the official site has already done. Not much going on right now other than getting the rides up and running.
This blog became real popular this past off-season due to my continued updates on Thunderhawk, thanks to everyone for pointing people to this site. Generally in the summer I don’t post much, but would still like to keep people interested in checking out the blog.
With that in mind, what would you like to see as far as updates during the summer? Pictures of various rides at MIA? Pictures from other parks? Please share your ideas of what you would be looking for. I will be visiting for sure, Cedar Point and MIA this year. I will probably be at MIA almost every weekend.
Hi Mark, this is Mike M again. I just wanted to say that if you make it to other parks besides michigans adventures and cedar point, try to take some other pictures please. Thank you for keeping us updated on Thunder Hawk. They all were great. Did you say that you go to michigans adventure evey weekend? Are you trying to bide to ride Thunder Hawk on May 14th??

Quick question, hopefully you can help me out with this. I’m in need of a picture of the east side of Sundae at the Races (the back), and was wondering if you had one. It would be cool if you could take lots of Thunderhawk in action during the summer and how the station ends up looking like. It would also be cool if you took pictures of new stuff in the park other than Thunderhawk, if there are other new things.
You should take pics of any new paint jobs on rides. Any general improvements at the park. Any new signs, shops, or park updates. Any construction. Any cool views, or any thing that is new
Thanks for the comments everyone. Mike, yes I do try to make it out to Michigan’s Adventure at least 4-5 times a week during the summer. My kids go everyday. However, I am not bidding on the ride auction, more than likely I will be at work that day.
Jon, keep an eye out sometime next week, right now I have no photo’s of the backside of Sundae at the Races.
What I may try to do is take a few random pictures a week. I hope to get plenty of photo’s from Cedar Point in two weeks though. Can’t wait to go!
Mark your going to love Cedar Point. Make sure you check out Raptor and and maXair! Those are two of the best rides there.
