Wow this is huge news. This could mean a large increase in attendance and could even cause MiAdv to try to build there own, if this turns out to be a success of course.

Is Casey Jourden related to Camille Jourden? Is this resort affiliated or owned by Michigan’s Adventure. This kind of came out of nowhere I had heard no rumors of a campground coing in and there were no signs of construction. I guess now that the park has city water and city sewer the park will atract many more types of things such as this. I’m still hoping for a nice McDonalds across the street and maybe this will atract that type of thing also.

Is this going in the old dirt parking lot across the street? I always thought that was owned by the Jourdens. Anyways this is great news and I’m sure Mark will keep us posted.:)

So Mark have you seen anything for 2009? Such as land clearings or flags of some sort. What do you think the park will get in 09?
Hi John, the only thing I saw so far was general park improvements for 2009. Cedar Point has not officially released anything, the minute they do, I will make sure to post here.
I am going to the park today to see if I can see anything though.
